Patient Safety Congress to be held in Liverpool, UK on Wednesday – Thursday, May 21-22, 2014. Speakers include Jeremy Hunt, Secretary of State for Health; Professor Sir Mike Richards, Chief Inspector of Hospitals; Dr Phil Hammond, writer and broadcaster; Dean Royles, NHS Employers.
This lecture will be delivered at the Royal Society of Medicine on Tuesday March 11, 2014, 7pm. Admission is free.
This meeting will be held at the Kings Fund, London on Tuesday March 18, 2014.
This conference will explore the new systems in the wake of the reports and the changes taking place to improve patient safety and quality in the NHS. In particular the event will look at:
- the new regulatory systems that have been put in place to ensure quality, and the standards for inspection
- ways that organisations are implementing quality and safety improvements
- how to ensure a culture of care and compassion within organisations.
